Micromax launches push-email phone Q80 at Rs 4999

Micromax Q80Mobile handsets manufacturer Micromax today said it has launched its first push-email (ezmail) phone — Micromax Q80.

The smartphone is a 3G and Wi–Fi enabled QWERTY phone with an optical track pad. Micromax Q80’s main feature Ezmail is a push email service from Micromax that allows the users to receive their mails instantly. Q80 is a dual SIM phone which is designed to run both 3G and 2G enabled SIMs.

The smartphone with a metal finish packs a 3 MP camera in the front with face and smile detection tech and a 3MP camera at the back. The phone has a music player with built-in Yamaha amplifier. Q80 boasts of a 2.4″ TFT QVGA screen (320 x 240) with an optical trackpad and preloaded applications like Opera Mini, Snaptu, Facebook, Nimbuzz etc.

The phone comes with stereo speakers, universal 3.5 mm audio jack and built in Yamaha amplifier. The Q80 offers an in-built memory of 68MB which is expandable upto 8 GB. Q80 has a 1200mAh Li-ion Battery with a standby time of up to 130 hours and talk time of upto 5 hours.

Q80 comes with a price tag of Rs 4999.
