Samsung has introduced a new mobile phone under its Ch@t series, this one is the Ch@t 222 a device capable of using two GSM SIM cards and boasts a four-row QWERTY keypad.
Following the tradition of the Ch@t series the device will include social networking and email services, while it would also be more affordable than the previously released Ch@t 322 and Ch@t 335.
HTC has launched a new mid range Android smartphone, HTC Wildfire S. HTC Wildfire S runs on Android™ v2.3 (Gingerbread) with HTC Sense™ and is powered by 600 MHz.
HTC Wildfire S sports a 3.2 inch touch screen display, 5 MP auto focus camera, 512 RAM/ROM, microSD Card support. Other features of the HTC Wildfire S include 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 3.0, micro USB, GPS, and 1230 mAh battery.
HTC had announced the HTC Salsa in Mobile World Congress (MWC) in February 2011. Now the company has officially launched the product in India. The phone comes with a dedicated Facebook button, as using Salsa, one can sign in to Facebook by just pressing the button.
HTC and Facebook worked closely together to create a social networking driven device that features an actual “Facebook Button”: whenever interesting content is easily shared to Facebook, the blue button lights up and with one press you can instantly share content with your friends on your Facebook page.
The Salsa will be powered by Google’s Android 2.3 operating system. Salsa comes with 3.4 inch touchscreen display with 480×320 pixel resolution and QWERTY keypad. It has 512 MB RAM and 512 MB ROM. It also features Android skin HTC Sense.
The new Nokia X3-02 Touch and Type is a Touchscreen mobile phone from Nokia featuring “Touch and Type” i.e. along with the touchscreen display it also sports an alpha-numeric keypad below the touchscreen. Nokia X3 Touch and Type sports a unique combination of a touch screen and traditional 12 button phone keypad. X3-02 is first Touch and Type device to be launched in India. The Nokia X3-02 allows people to tap quickly on the bright color touch screen , as well as enjoy the familiarity of the full keypad for quick fire text messages and phone calls.
The smartphone-cum-table is divided into two halves- a smartphone and a tablet. According to Asus, Padfone explores the possible convergence between a mobile phone and a tablet.

Nokia unveiled two new dual-SIM phones at an event called “Twins Day Out” here in New Delhi. While Nokia C2-00 is targeted at customers who want to access internet on the move, Nokia X1-01 is a music phone. Nokia had brought together 60 twins for the event and held a parade before showing its new handsets.

Mobile manufacturer HTC Corporation made an addition in the company’s mobile handset offerings by launching an android-based HTC Desire S worth Rs 25,490.
“The new phone offers an exhilarating mix of style, innovation and features that extends people’s mobile experience in ways that feel personal and completely original. The HTC Desire was extremely well received in India and met with immense success and we are positive that the new HTC Desire S will prove to be a worthy successor,” HTC India Country Head Ajay Sharma said in a statement.
