Tablet space seems to be getting hotter by the day. Japanese electronic giant Toshiba is all set to launch its Android Honeycomb-powered tablet.
Dubbed Thrive, Toshiba unveiled the tablet at the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas earlier this year.
As for the specs, Thrive will run on Android 3.0 Honeycomb and will be powered by NVIDIA Tegra 2 processor. Sporting a 10-inch capacitive touch screen with 1280 x 800 resolution, the tablet will come with a 5 megapixel camera at the back and a 2 megapixel HD front-facing camera. Connectivity options include HDMI/USB/mini USB ports, WiFi and Bluetooth 3.0. The tablet is also expected to support Adobe Flash.
According to reports, Toshiba Thrive will come in two versions, 8GB and 32GB. While the 8GB version is expected to be priced at $450, the 32GB version will cost $579.
