25-year old dies using Chinese phone
If you happen to be a Chinese phone user, here’s a shocking piece of news for you. In one of the most bizarre events, a 25-year old man from the Panchmahal district of Gujarat died after being electrocuted by his China-made phone.
The incident occurred when 25-year-old Dhanji Damor was trying to make a call while his phone was plugged in for charging. The victim was pronounced dead by doctors due to electrocution.

Dell to launch ‘Streak 10 Pro’ tablet
Dell Inc has chosen to launch its new 10-inch Android tablet in China this summer, passing up on a US, Europe launch, as China emerges as a front line battle for tablets.
The tablet named “Streak 10 Pro” will target Chinese “prosumers”, a term used to describe advanced-level consumers, Amit Midha, Dell’s President of Greater China and South Asia, said on a corporate blog.
Sony Ericsson unveils phones on Facebook
It seems the social networking site Facebook is picking up as a new launchpad. Cellphone giant Sony Ericsson took it to Facebook to unveil two new phones — the Text Pro and Mix Walkman.
Geared towards music lovers and social networking fans, both the handsets run Sony Ericsson operating system and reportedly have a user interface similar to the Xperia range.

HTC Flyer coming to India
The competition is hotting up for tablets’ in India, with Taiwanese handset maker now bringing its Flyer tablet to India in the next few weeks.
” HTC Flyer will be launched shortly, in the next couple of weeks,” HTC Corporation President (South Asia) Lennard Hoornik said.
HTC Flyer’s competitors in India include Samsung’s Galaxy Tab, Blackberry Playbook and the Apple iPad.
Samsung introduces dual-SIM Ch@t phones
Samsung has introduced a new mobile phone under its Ch@t series, this one is the Ch@t 222 a device capable of using two GSM SIM cards and boasts a four-row QWERTY keypad.
Following the tradition of the Ch@t series the device will include social networking and email services, while it would also be more affordable than the previously released Ch@t 322 and Ch@t 335.
